Friends and Family Visitors Day

What is Camp 100?

2025 is a year all about Woodcraft Folk celebrating our centenary (100 years of bringing brilliant experiences for young people). To mark the occasion we will be hosting an international camp. Camp 100 is happening between 27th July and the 6th August 2025 at Kelmarsh Hall in Northamptonshire.

Around 2000 young people will be joining from across the UK and around the world, and will live by cooperative values and look ahead to the next 100 years of Woodcraft Folk.

What is Visitors Day?

Visitors day will be a day for family, friends and alumni Woodcraft Folk members to come and have a taste of camp. This is a great opportunity if you are someone who has been to international camps with Woodcraft Folk in the past or if you are visiting a young person or volunteer who will have been at camp for a whole week already.

When is visitors day?

Visitors day will take place on Sunday 3 August.

Visitors will be welcome on site between 11am – 5pm – you can come to as much or little of this as you like!

Who can come and visit the site?

We are welcoming friends and family of those who are at Camp 100 to come along. All ages are welcome! Please make clear on the booking form if there are any access needs for visitors so we can take this into account when planning.

We hope that siblings, parents, carers, extended family can come to visit and take part in some activities and get a taste of what camp is all about.

We are hoping to also welcome alumni members of Woodcraft Folk and friends of the folk to come along and find out more about Camp 100.

What will happen on visitors day?

Visitors are welcome to arrive from 11am. You will have the chance to go and meet those you are visiting and explore their village and town. There will be town/village programme on this day so this might be a range of activities from games, crafts, singing and workshops.

You will have a chance to get involved with Camp 100, explore the site, see different activities, meet new friends, catch up with those you already know and have great fun!

Do I have to pay?

Attending visitors day is free but we encourage you to make a donation when booking (details below). All donations support our work and mean we can continue to bring brilliant experiences to young people for the next 100 years.

What should I bring with me?

Please bring a packed lunch to enjoy at the site, good energy and positivity as well as suitable footwear for uneven ground and appropriate clothing for the weather.
